1986年成立【名威影業公司】。主要製作影片發行亞洲地區。

1991年轉為有限公司-【名威影業有限公司】。開始大量製作女性動作電影、兒童動作電影及武術動作電影。1993年開始在美國製作女性動作電影，除亞洲地區發行並用在各地影展推銷香港影片。近年主要業務，除發行"名威"製作電影、電視劇集。亦購入各地電影、電視版權。

創辦人 張啟平先生從事電影事業接近50年。在中國及東南亞地區有良好發行網絡。【名威影業有限公司】擁有200多部已完成電影及200多小時電視劇，繼續投資多部電影及電視劇。

Founded in 1986, MY WAY FILM COMPANY mainly produces films for distribution in the Asia region.

In 1991, MY WAY FILM COMPANY became MY WAY FILM COMPANY LIMITED and began producing a large quantity of female-themed action films, children action films and martial arts action films. The company also began producing female -themed action films in the United States of American in 1983 for Asia distribution, as well as for screenings in the international film festivals to promote Hong Kong Cinema. In recent years, in addition to producing films and television series under "MY WAY" brand, the company has also been acquiring distribution rights to films and televisions from various countries.

The founder, Mr. Jeremy Kai-ping Cheung, is a veteran of the Hong Kong film industry for almost 50 years. He has a well-established distribution network in both China and Southeast Asia. MY WAY FILM COMPANY LIMITED has worldwide all-media rights to a library of over 200 films and more than 244 hours of television programming.
